PORTRAIT GALLERY
A selection of some of my favourite portraits

My portrait photography is about photographing people as they are, in places that feel familiar or meaningful to them. The location is part of the story – whether that’s a stretch of coastline in Wales, the Herefordshire countryside, or somewhere closer to home. What matters most is that it feels comfortable and natural.

I keep sessions relaxed and unforced, focusing on real expression rather than formal posing. By allowing space for things to unfold, the photographs tend to feel more honest and connected. The aim is not to manufacture moments, but to respond to what’s already there.

These sessions can take many forms – family portraits, engagement shoots, maternity sessions, or simply marking a particular time in life. Whatever the reason, the focus remains the same: to create clear, thoughtful images that reflect who you are at that point in time.

This portrait gallery shows a selection of some of my favourite portraits from a range of settings. Each one represents a brief moment, observed and photographed simply, without unnecessary direction or distraction.
